After missing six of Crystal Palace’s first seven games due to a knee injury, Wilfried Zaha has started to rediscover the sort of form that made everyone sit up and take notice of him when he was lighting up the Championship a few years ago.

The winger has bagged three goals in nine appearances, which is actually a fairly impressive return considering how diabolically bad the Eagles have been for much of this season.

An injury to star striker Christian Benteke however has meant that Zaha has featured frequently as a striker, which has added an extra element and level of experience to his game.

With Palace now beginning to turn their form around under new manager Roy Hodgson, and this upturn unsurprisingly coinciding with the form of the Ivorian international, other clubs are taking notice of Zaha once again.

Chelsea are the latest side to join the hunt for his signature, according to the Metro, as Antonio Conte is preparing for the prospect of departures both in January and next summer.

The Blues currently sit third in the Premier League table, three points behind second place Manchester United, and a whopping 14 behind leaders City.

The addition of Zaha to Conte’s squad would certainly help Chelsea compete better on all fronts, and push for a second place finish in the league.
