French super club PSG are set to continue their trend of trying to buy every good player in the world with no financial consequences, and the latest prospect to catch their eye is non other than Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, according to Le Parisien.

To their credit defensive midfield may well be the one weak link in what is a star-studded PSG side, especially given that 35-year-old Thiago Motta is likely to retire once his contract expires in 2018. When looking to strengthen the position there aren’t many more attractive names out there right now than N’Golo Kante. The Frenchman won consecutive Premier League titles with Leicester and Chelsea and was named the Premier League Player of the Season last campaign.

PSG are reportedly willing to pay €90m for Kante’s services and his addition would make the club one of the major forces in world football. The Parisians missed out on the Ligue 1 title last season, mostly due to Monaco’s incredible season, and crashed out of the Champions League in almost embarrassing circumstances at the hands of Barcelona. To bounce back in this campaign PSG signed Neymar and took Kylian Mbappe on loan from rivals Monaco, and having Kante amongst their ranks next summer would be an incredible long term addition.
