Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard is enjoying a dream-like start to the new season in the Premier League.

The Belgium international is given full support – and freedom – from the Blues boss Maurizio Sarri and replied with stellar performances in the opening exchanges of the new campaign.

Fully settled under the new manager – and after a difficult season with Antonio Conte at helm – Hazard decided to get it off his chest and revealed he contemplated leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid in the summer, at the same time revealing his Spain dream.

“I will tell you the truth. After the World Cup I wanted to leave because my dream is to play in Spain,” he told BT Sport.

The Belgium international reiterated his dedication to Chelsea but refused to be dragged into talks of retiring at Stamford Bridge.

“Retiring at Chelsea? Yes, for sure [I could stay here], but there’s also the possibility that I can leave. I love the club, the fans, the city and my teammates, I think, love me so it’s easy to stay. But if I leave or if I stay, I’ll be happy. This club is now part of my life so we’ll see.”, he added.
