Nerazzurri have reportedly made contact with Luka Modric’s agents to propose a summer move to Serie A.
Having already been informed of Inter Milan’s interest, the Croatia international is said to be open to leaving Santiago Bernabeu.
Luciano Spalletti is not the only one harbouring admiration for the midfielder as Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is also reportedly looking into a possibility of moving in for Modric.
The 32-year-old playmaker is coming off from a formidable season with both club and country. Having won the Champions League title with Real Madrid, Modric captain Croatia to the World Cup final this summer in Russia.
Real Madrid are not expected to sanction any move for Luka Modric however as it’s highly unlikely they would allow another first-team superstar to leave after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.
